Abstract: | This report documents work undertaken by Rio Tinto Exploration Pty Ltd (RTX) on EL 32106 for the period 12 November 2021 to 11 November 2022. EL 32106, Cow Paddock, was lodged following the analysis and interpretation of phase 1 results from the North Australia Hydrogeochemistry Survey (NAHS). During the current reporting RTX representatives conducted land access activities engaging with local pastoral and Traditional Owners ahead of proposed ground IP geophysics. A contract was executed with Planetary Geophysics to conduct Pole-Dipole IP/Resistivity ground geophysical surveying. Shortly before conducting the IP survey, the geophysical contracting crew were located in the town of Katherine during a Covid-19 outbreak and affected by subsequent lockout restrictions imposed by the Northern Territory Government. As a result, the surveying had to be postponed and rescheduled. There was no on-ground exploration work carried out during the reporting period with much of the focus on securing land access approvals. |
