Abstract: The Exploration Licence 31939 was granted on 1st April 2019 for a period of six years. The licence covered 6 graticular blocks. Two blocks were relinquished on the 14th April 2023, and are the subject of this report. The licence is located 25km southeast of the Adelaide River, and approximately 100km south of Darwin. The licence sits within the highly prospective Pine Creek Orogen. The area is known to host various commodities, which includes gold, uranium, base metals, PGE, iron ore, manganese, magnesite, phosphate and diamonds. The tenement consists mainly of rocks from the Burrell Creek Formation. Exploration on the two relinquished blocks for the 5-year period was limited due to competing priorities on active mineral licences. Work included a review of historical work, prospectivity review, purchase of satellite and elevation data, a field reconnaissance visit and 3D modelling of the tenement bounds. No significant structures or anomalies were identified on relinquished blocks.
