Browns Range NT Project Annual Group Technical Report for the period 21 August 2015 to 20 August 2016 Exploratio License EL 24193 and EL 24174

Abstract

The Browns Range Northern Territory (NT) project incorporates tenements EL 24174 and EL 24193. The two tenements were granted to Northern Minerals Limited on the 21 August 2012. Northern Minerals is currently exploring the project as part of a wider exploration program covering contiguous tenements in Western Australia and the Northern Territory over the greater part of the Browns Range Dome. The targeted commodity is Heavy Rare Earths associated with xenotime mineralization, similar to that at the Wolverine prospect on the Western Australian side of the Browns Range Dome. During the reporting period, on-ground work was limited due to financial constraints. Plans for on-ground exploration have been deferred due to the Company's difficult financial position which has been caused by falling rare earth prices and an inability to raise additional funding in a risk averse equities market.
