Title: Final Report for EL31350 Fenton South Project for the period 22 June 2017 to 16 June 2021
Title Holder / Company: Newmont Exploration

Abstract: This report documents exploration work conducted by Newmont Exploration Pty Ltd (Newmont) on Exploration Licence (EL) 31350, during the period 22nd June 2017 to 16th June 2021, which forms Newmont's Fenton South project (the Project). The Project is located in the western section of the Central Domain of the Pine Creek Orogen (PCO), which is a major gold and uranium province in the Northern Territory, containing a known gold endowment of approximately 11Moz Au. Newmont's work on the Project targeted Proterozoic Pine Creek lode style gold mineralisation. The Project has been interpreted to intersect the Fenton Shear and the favourable Koolpin Formation, known to host gold mineralisation. Work completed during the reporting period included desktop studies, orientation and detailed surface geochemical surveys utilising Newmont's proprietary Deep Sensing Geochemistry (DSG) technique and diamond drilling program. An orientation surface geochemical survey designed to assess two magnetic anomalies and historical anomalous gold drilling results. The orientation program was deemed successful and a more detailed surface geochemical survey was conducted. The surface geochemical survey completed during 2018 was carried out on a 50m x 500m spacing designed to assess the historically reported anomalous gold mineralisation. DSG sampling successfully identified anomalous values in the expected position through transported alluvium, however it did not identify any areas requiring further follow up. The diamond drilling program completed in 2018 targeted known historical anomalous gold on the southern Project and was undertaken concurrently with the detailed DSG survey. The diamond drillhole program consisted of three diamond drillholes (KAD0001-KAD0003) for a total of 2,025.3m. No significant results were returned, reporting a maximum intercept of 1m at 0.4g/t Au (KAD0001). The defined target areas on the Project have been adequately assessed and did not return any elevated results that warrant further investigation. Subsequently the Project has been voluntarily surrendered.
