Abstract: | The Stokes Yard Exploration Licence 30131 was granted to Imperial Granite and Minerals Pty Ltd (Imperial) on 11 August 2014 and purchased by TNG Ltd (TNG) in September 2015. The licence formed part of the demerger of base metal assets from TNG Ltd to Todd River Resources Limited which took place in April 2017 and is currently operated by Todd River Metals Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Todd River Resources Limited. The tenement contains the Stokes Yard Zn-Cu-Pb prospect which is hosted by the amphibolite-facies Ikuntji Metamorphics which are part of the Iwupataka Metamorphic Complex within the Haasts Bluff Domain of the Warumpi Province. Exploration over the life of the tenure has included multiples pXRF soil sampling programmes, mapping, rock chip sampling, a full geophysical review and a subsequent MLEM survey. After a review of all available exploration data, and due to the current difficulties of intermittent travel restrictions associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, state-based lockdowns and isolation/quarantine periods, it was decided that EL 30131 was not a high-priority for the company and the licence was relinquished at its seventh anniversary. |
NOTE: | See CR2017-0382 and CR2018-0363 for rock and soil sampling programs See 2019-0409 for MLEM survey |
