Stokes Yard Project Third Annual Report 11 August 2016 to 10 August 2017 EL 30131

Abstract

The Stokes Yard Project (EL 30131) is operated by Todd River Metals Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Todd River Resources Limited. The licence formed part of the demerger of base metal assets from TNG Ltd to Todd River Resources Limited which took place in April 2017. The tenement contains the Stokes Yard Zn-Cu-Pb prospect which is hosted by the amphibolite-facies Ikuntji Metamorphics which are part of the Iwupataka Metamorphic Complex within the Haasts Bluff Domain of the Warumpi Province. In October 2016, a program of mapping, portable XRF (pXRF) soil sampling and rock chip sampling commenced; this program was not completed due to inclement weather and only two days were spent on the project. This programme was completed over three days in July 2017. pXRF soil sampling outlined anomalous values in all base metals with the anomaly centred on the area of the Stokes Yard prospect. Laboratory analysis confirmed this anomalism. Mapping at the Stokes Yard prospect identified lithologies of quartz-feldpsar-biotite gneiss to migmatite gneiss, quartzite, amphibolite schist, actinolite bearing amphibolite schist (calc-silicate), impure forsterite bearing marble and minor dolerite. Quartz-epidote veins and epidote alteration have intruded the migmatite gneiss. Rock chip sampling of the mineralisation at the main prospect area returned maximum assays of up to 2.96% Cu, 9.72% Pb, 8.86% Zn and 64.1ppm Ag within weathered and altered actinolite bearing amphibolite, amphibolite schist and forsterite marble. Additional detailed structural mapping is recommended prior to geophysical surveys across the prospect area.
