Abstract: | This report details exploration undertaken during the twelve month reporting period between 10th February 2014 and 24th October 2015. The Tenement lies within the Tennant Creek Mineral Field and is highly prospective for epigenetic structurally controlled ironstone and related gold copper mineralization. During the 2014 dry season Truscott continued to carry out field mapping work. The main goals of the mapping exercise were to map elements of regional structures to further develop the understanding of the projects regional and local structural setting. In addition to mapping the location of ironstone outcrops, particular attention was paid to the ground expression of the 083 dextral shear and the resultant 063 (compression), and 103 (extensional) shear zones. These shear zones occur both locally and regionally and are visable on Google Earth, gravity survey maps and are also found on the ground during field mapping exercises. |
