Abstract: | This Report examines the historical exploration and rehabilitation activities over the Warrego Group of tenure. It is recommended that Emmerson renew and eventually amalgamate all 19 titles into a single title for future operational and rehabilitation activities. The Warrego Group covers a site that retains significant amount of infrastructure in various states, from under care and maintenance to require demolition-removal and rehabilitation. Although some in-situ resources remain in the historic Warrego mine due to the ground failures and uncertain mine conditions it is highly unlikely that they would ever be economic. The site is required for the recommissioning of the CIP plant and associated facilities and infrastructure, currently under care and maintenance and finally to be rehabilitated following the final decommissioning of the treatment plant, when all mining has ceased in Tennant Creek in the future. |
