Tomkinson Project Annual Report 5 December 2018 to 4 December 2019 EL 31265

Abstract

EL 31265 forms part of the Tomkinson Project area located in the Northern Territory approximately 10-20km to the NW of the historical Bootu Creek manganese deposits and 100km NW of Tennant Creek. The Tomkinson Project licences formed part of the demerger of base metal assets from TNG Ltd to Todd River Resources Limited which took place in April 2017 and are now 100% owned by Todd River Metals Pty Ltd (TRM). No on-ground work was completed the current year of tenure, due to extensive drilling being undertaken on the companies Mount Hardy Project. Recent work by the Northern Territory Geological Survey, presented at AGES in March 2019 has determined through extensive geochronological work that the Namerinni Group within the Tomkinson Basin is more likely part of the younger Favenc Package than the Glyde Package as originally thought. EL 31265 was originally applied for in order to explore the area for McArthur River minetype mineralisation as the Namerinni Group was thought to correlate with the McArthur Group of the McArthur Basin. These new stratigraphic correlations concede that this is not likely. A review of available geological data will determine whether the licence will be retained for the entire reporting year.
