Abstract: Exploration Licences 22712 (Stake Range) was granted on the 8th of August 2001, for a period of six years. EL 22712 is located some 90km north north west of the Tanami Mine. This is the first year of tenure. The prospectivity of EL 22712 is enhanced by the nature of the host rocks - potentially the older McFarlane Peak Formation (amphibolites, basalts, dolerite, volcaniclastic sediment, possible felsic volcanics , metagreywacke and schist). During the first year a basic literature review of the ground was conducted to determine the extent of the work conducted by other companies in the region and their success. As well as being part of the regional review for targets conducted by Otter Gold NL.
