Abstract

The area is situated within the Pine Creek Orogen region, which is highly prospective for gold and base metal mineralisation. The area has long been a target for exploration and May Drilling Pty Ltd (May Drilling) believe the area is highly prospective for an economic gold, tin or base metal deposit. A field trip to the licence was undertaken during the reporting period. Numerous exploration activities were conducted, which included geological mapping, sampling, panning and channel sampling trenching with a backhoe. May Drilling is encouraged by the first year results and will continue exploration during the next reporting period. The next exploration programme will consist of mapping, sampling, XRF assaying of samples and diamond drilling of prospective locations.
