Abstract: Adnera Hill EL 29475, is located 250km north of Alice Springs and comprises part of the Neutral Junction project. Bowgan Minerals Limited is the current operator of the tenement. Exploration is currently aimed at identification of potential occurrence of economic gold, silver and base metal mineralisation within an iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) setting. Bowgan has identified known anomalies immediately north of the tenement with activity on EL 29475 being currently focused towards exploration along known structural corridors within the tenement. A field program of geological reconnaissance mapping was conducted and research of historical literature was completed during the reporting period with first-pass geophysical and geochemical survey programs proposed for EL 29475 during the next reporting period. Reconnaissance mapping revealed widespread soil cover consisting of regolith on the west and largely transported sandy soils on the east. Few exposures of prospective Arunta Inlier units (Palaeoproterozoic metasediments) were identified with the exception of minor pegmatitic gravels and breccia outcrops which were limited to the north-western corner of the tenement. These occurred in the area located south of several known targets on BML's EL 24253, where anomalous gold, silver and base-metal anomalies have been interpreted to occur in an IOCG deposit setting.
