Abstract: | This report is a final surrender report for the EL 24995 lease in the Northern Territory for the purposes of amalgamating with the licence to the east, EL 29616. A planned sampling and geological mapping program was planned to be undertaken during November 2011 covering a radiometric anomaly sharing similar characteristics to the Mundagee Mine area. The anomaly is located approximately 2.5km south of Munadgee. Immediately prior to arrival of the Northern Minerals personnel, heavy rainfall fell in the Tennent Creek district on the 21 November preventing access past the Kurundi Station homestead. A re-evaluation of the gold potential has been recently conducted which has determined the project area to be prospective for gold. |
