| Abstract: | This report outlines the work undertaken in MCN 273 during its tenure. MCN 273 was granted on the 16 May 1983 and surrendered on the 15 May 2013. The mineral claim covered parts the Mathison Creek Barite Deposit. Sibelco has in the past conducted geological mapping, costeaning and RC drilling programme to delineate the barite veins. Due to depressed market conditions for OD (Oil Drilling) grade barite, and the narrow thickness of barite veins encountered the mineral claim was surrendered. |
