Abstract: | EL 30058 was granted to Crossland Nickel Pty Ltd and Panconoz Pty Ltd on 23 April 2014 for a period of 6 years. The assets of Panconoz were acquired by Essential Mining Resources Pty Ltd in 2016. The granted licence consisted of 106 blocks or 334.3 km2. In Early February 2020, Crossland made a decision to surrender the licence. The company is reducing its landholdings at Charley Creek in order to concentrate financial resources in areas where the greatest REE potential exists. There have been no on-ground exploration activities carried out on the licence. All eligible expenditures relate to activities that have relevance to the project as a whole. These have included environmental projects for a preliminary EIS; Scoping Studies involving engineering and metallurgical works and an in-house and consukltant-based resource calculations. |
