Abstract: EL 27358 was granted to Crossland Nickel Pty Ltd on 17 November 2009 for a period of 6 years. The granted licence originally consisted of 131 blocks or 412.67 km2. In November 2019, Crossland Strategic Metals Ltd (Crossland) informed DPIR that it was relinquishing 74 sub-blocks from the subject licence. The number of blocks to be retained is eight (8). The relinquishment will coincide with renewal of the tenement on 17th November. The reduction is in line with Crossland's desire to reduce its landholdings and concentrate on the areas where the most promising resource of Rare Earth Elements (REE) are known to occur. Within the relinquished area exploration activities comprising Aircore drilling and stream sediment sampling took place from 2011 to 2013. The licence was also allocated expenditure for activities related to the Project as a whole, such as Baseline Environmental Surveys and the Scoping Study, both initially conducted in 2012.
