EL 31475 Douglas Project Partial Relinquishment Report for the period 1 September 2018 to 31 August 2019

Abstract

EL 31475 (Project) is located approximately 135 km NW of Katherine and 600 km W of Pine Creek. The Project is located on the western margin of the Pine Creek Orogen. It includes the Quantum REE prospect which is located under Daly Basin sedimentary rocks. CopperOz Pty Ltd is assessing the potential of the application area for bedrock REE, U and Au-Ag deposits, as well as alluvial Au deposits. A total of 5 sub-blocks were relinquished from the Project at the end of Year 2, leaving 6 sub-blocks. Work on the relinquished blocks was limited to reviews of previous exploration activities and publicly available remote sensing and geophysical datasets. This work suggested that the relinquished blocks have low potential to host economic mineralisation, and no further work is recommended.
