Abstract: | Exploration in the first year of tenure was carried out by Brumby and focussed on base metal exploration. It consisted of a review and an assessment of previous exploration and a geophysical interpretation of the McArthur River Project area. The assessment of previous exploration included data entry and compilation of previous drill hole data. Base metal mineralisation has been located by previous explorers in close proximity to the tenement area and subeconomic levels of base metals have been intersected within the tenement area. Barney Creek Formation, with some associated with elevated zinc and lead values, was intersected by previous drilling within the tenement area. Geophysical surveys and / or grid surface sampling are recommended for the next phase of exploration over the tenement. |
