EL 23722 Batchelor Annual Report for the year ended 17 September 2013

Abstract

Compass Resources has undertaken extensive exploration programs for both base metals and uranium mineralisation within the Batchelor area for the last decade. During the reporting period, work carried out focussed on reprocessing the detailed airborne EM and magnetic surveys previously flown and completing a Falcon Gravity survey over the tenements. The detailed airborne magnetics and EM data was processed and interpreted by a consultant geophysicist in early 2012. While no specific source to the uranium anomalism was detected some EM targets were identified. The Falcon Gravity Survey was contracted to Fugro Airborne Surveys Pty Ltd. The survey consisted of N-S lines at 200m spacing with a nominal terrain clearance of 80m. There were a total of 25.2km of flight lines within EL 23722. An aeromagnetic survey was completed at the same time as was a LIDAR survey to provide the detailed topographic data for processing the gravity data.
