Title: | Annual Technical Report for EL 28203 French, Allamber Project for the period 25 February 2012 to 24 February 2013 |
Title Holder / Company: | Element 92 |
Report id: | CR2013-0146 |
Tenure: | EL28203 |
Year: | 2013 |
Author: | Mill, P Mees, H |
Abstract: | During the period under review, work completed within EL 28203 included geological reconnaissance, and analysis and re-assessment of existing regional geological data sets with specific regard to their similarities to responses around Ox-Eyed Herring and Tarpon Prospects 5 kilometres to the NE. Geological reconnaissance was completed early in the 2012 field season and was of limited extent and success due to extensive cover by recent sediments and wet ground conditions. Analysis of geological and airborne geophysical datasets indicates high prospectivity for base-metal sulphide mineralisation similar to that discovered in 2012 at Tarpon Prospect, approximately 5 kilometres NE of the title. Further work will be undertaken in the 2013 season to ground-check the magnetic features. The expenditure commitment was not met on this project for the reporting period as resources were diverted to the significant work program on Tarpon Prospect in adjacent titles where drilling had identified a new base metal mineral system. |
