Title: Annual Report GR264/12 EL 26995, EL 26997, EL 27008 period 3 September 2011 to 2 September 2012
Title Holder / Company: Fertoz
Report id: CR2012-0786
Tenure: EL26995;  EL26997;  EL27008
Year: 2012
Author: Szonyi, L
Abstract: Work conducted in the third year consisted of desk top studies, submission of a Mine Management Plan and XRF analysis of waterbore cuttings within or adjacent to the Katherine tenements. The exploration work done to date has not successfully explored the Katherine project for the presence of phosphate mineralisation. What limited work that has been done has proved that the transported soils effectively are geochemically blanketing the underlying rocks. The only effective way to examine the underlying strata is by drilling. Fertoz plans to carry out drilling in the next twelve months. It will target the contact of the Jinduckin Formation and the Tindal Limestone with the intention of intersecting phosphate at an economically prospective depth.
