Title: Annual Report on mineral tenement EL 27942
Title Holder / Company: AMI Resources
Report id: CR2012-1090
Tenure: EL27942
Year: 2012
Abstract: AMI has made an effective progress in conducting geological survey, research, fieldworks and also geochemical analysis in the second year. These progresses have prepared AMI for significant geological exploration in the forthcoming years. Only a small area of the licence was sampled, and none of the known mineral occurrences were investigated. The prospective major fault zones and Proterozoic basement rocks were not investigated. Despite this, modest anomalism in copper, gold and possibly uranium is evident in several samples collected over an extent of over 3 kilometres from west to east (samples DUCRK06, 07, 08, 10). These samples were very wide-spaced, at 750 to 1700 metres apart. Assays in gold, copper and uranium were up to 0.05 ppm Au, 1290 ppm Cu and 30 ppm U. These are not highly anomalous but, for such widely spaced sampling, warrant further investigation and more detailed sampling.
