Abstract: The Giles Creek project is located in the northern part of the Musgrave Block Province, adjacent the WA/NT border about 500km west of Alice Springs. Tenure comprises EL 26819, originally of 310km2 granted on 15th March 2017 for a period of six years. On 15th March 2019 statutory reduction of tenement area by 50% was effected. This report summarises work completed on the portion relinquished. The primary target is base metals and gold within Mesoproterozoic volcanics and sediments within a thrust/shear zone (Wankari Detachment Zone). The tenement area has been subject of very little previous exploration. During the first year of tenure, a consultant was engaged to complete a search of previous exploration activities and interpret existing data. Public domain geotechnical datasets were accessed, image-enhanced and analysed. Work focussed on defining exploration target areas from the remote-sensed data with recommendations for initial field work. No targets of particular interest were defined within the area being relinquished. During the second year of tenure a detailed airborne survey collecting magnetic and radiometric data was flown over the entire tenement area. The survey qualified for co-funding in Round 11 of the NTGS Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations program. No targets or prospects were defined within the area being relinquished.
