Abstract: EL 25566 and EL 31383 of 774km2 and 764km2 respectively are located in the northern Musgraves Province in the extreme southwest corner of the Northern Territory. Primary commodities sought are gold, nickel, PGE's, and REE's. Little modern exploration data exists from government airborne geophysics or past explorers. There are no prospects and very few drillholes within the survey area. The collaboration survey, called 'Claude Hills North', was designed to provide detailed magnetic and radiometric coverage over a substantial part of EL's 25566 and 31383. The only existing airborne data hails from the 1985 Petermann survey recorded at 500 metre line spacing. The collaboration survey, undertaken in March 2019, acquired helicopter-borne magnetic and radiometric data on traverses 200 metres apart at a height of 60 metres, for a total of 4,700 line kilometres. The survey was successful in adding knowledge of the regional geology and defining new prospects. Interpretation of the data defined target areas of possible Giles Complex ultramafics, and prospect scale low-order radiometric anomalies with potential for uranium, thorium and REE's. On a regional scale, further knowledge was gleaned of the distribution of the Mesoproterozoic Umutju Granite Suite.
