Abstract: | The Bonya Project in the Northern Territory is located 400 km east of Alice Springs (Figure 1). The area is highly prospective for base metals, with known occurrences of copper, gold and tungsten. Rox Resources Limited was granted EL 29599 in 10th May 2013. The licence was subsequently transferred to Molyhil Mining Pty Ltd on 20th September 2018. The tenement was not renewed at the anniversary on 9th May 2019. No work was conducted on EL 29599 from 20th September 2018 to 9th May 2019. While the tenement lies within close proximity to numerous know copper and tungsten deposits, the ground is not sufficiently prospective for Thor Mining to continue to maintain the licence and has elected to allow it to lapse on the anniversary. |
