Abstract: | EL 28232 is a small tenement that was pegged to cover the northern extent of the Fenton Shear as it approaches the Douglas Daly River. The area to the north of the Douglas Daly River hosts TUC Resources (ASX-TUC) Quantum rare-earths project. Assessment field work in 2011 on EL 28232 found surface exploration of the area around the river banks to be hazardous with large numbers of crocodiles. Also, surface activity is hampered by conservation exclusion zones. A MMI survey to the south on EL 27732 conducted by Blue Thunder Resources identified a gold anomaly open to the north. It is suggested that this gold anomaly will continue within this favourable structural and geological 'corridor' to the river-marked cross structure. |
