Annual Report on MCN 633 for the period 31 December 2010 to 30 December 2011

Abstract

During the reporting period, detailed geological mapping was conducted by consultant geologists on a regional scale which also included MCN 633. The main aim of detailed geological and structural mapping was to understand geological and structural setting of gold, uranium and base metals mineralisation in the area. This involved incorporation of remote sensing imagery, high resolution geophysical data, photo-geological interpretation and mapping of the structural setting of the project area. In addition, appraisal of previous exploration data was undertaken along with some field visits for ground-truthing. Appraisal of geological, structural and geophysical data of MCN 633 has highlighted the mineral potential of the project area. Although, alluvial mining has exhausted gold in the project area, but alluvial potential of unconsolidated material still exit. It is suggested that bulk sample of auriferous gravel be tested for the presence of gold mineralisation. Subsurface information in the project area can be revealed by shallow drilling. It is proposed that company should undertake drilling campaign, penetrating into the bed rock geology. Drill chip samples taken should be logged for lithological information, and assayed for gold, uranium and base metals mineralisation.
