| Abstract: | The Garden Point Formation (age unknown) appears to fill a rather deep sedimentary basin beneath the northern parts of the island. This sequence is regarded as having the greatest potential with regards to oil search. The present reconnaissance was carried out during most of October and the first half of November 1956. |
