| Abstract: | An area north west of Lucy Creek Station contains a stratigraphic section favourable for the occurrence of petroleum, and contains a small but significant domal structure. Other favourable structures have also been located. The Ammaroo 'strike' demonstrates that petroliferous components are preserved in the area. The present report reviews the overall problem in the light of a programme of detailed mapping carried out during the period March to May, 1961. |
