Annual report EL 25084 Paupers Dream, Kirkimbie Diamond Project

Abstract

Selected soil and rock chip samples were collected during a number of recent visits to the tenements in 2010 and 2011. These samples have been assayed and the results and interpretation are contained herein. The results indicate anomalous values of chromium, cobalt, barium, manganese, zinc, lead and nickel compared to other background values elsewhere in the region. Detritus material ranging in size from pebble to clay was taken from Maude Creek and Moonbool Creek and samples were sieved at the site. Soil samples were taken from B horizon because it is often the zone of metal accumulation. A total of twenty-one rock chip, gravel and soil samples were collected from the field. The samples were sent to ALS Chemex for assay using ME-MS23 (MC samples) and ME-ICP61 (MD samples). The range of elements tested, their tolerances and values are given below in the Appendices.
