Title: Final surrender report GR488 EL 31598 and EL 31599 Mount Singleton Project 21 December 2017 to 20 December 2018
Title Holder / Company: Elm Resources
Report id: CR2018-0660
Tenure: EL31598;  EL31599
Year: 2018
Author: Drabsch, B
Abstract: The Mount Singleton Project was acquired on the basis of extensive underlying Southwark Granite in the western part of the project area (Mt Singleton) containing pegmatites and greisen phases with elevated tungsten - highly lithium fertile rocks. Upon further investigation into the prospectivity of these rocks and in consideration of the deteriorating conditions within the Li market the project was downgraded. The Company also received notification from the National Native Title Tribunal that there was an application made by the Ngalyia Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC and Northern Territory to vary clauses within the determination. The complexity of this and its impact further downgraded the prospectivity of the project and the tenure relinquished. No work was undertaken.
