Abstract: Although Mt Swan Granite is dominated by Thorium, ratio 3:1 (thus downgrading prospectivity potential for intrusive-hosted uranium deposits) there are two areas of cropping out radiogenic Mt Swan Granite whose equivalent Uranium channel responses are several orders of magnitude greater than those of the surrounding intrusion area. The eastern area is of particular interest because it overlies a moderately magnetic feature delineated by detailed analysis of 400m l.s. Elkedra Geophysical survey located digital data possibly indicative of IOCGU-type sulphide mineralisation thus requiring further investigation. I.e closed spaced AEM/helimag geophysical surveying followed by RAB/RC subsurface drill testing of anomalies delineated if warranted.
