Abstract: | After reviewing work completed to date and a final field trip, the decision was made to apply for a mineral lease over the available area of EL 24689 and a portion of EL 25903. This lead to the relinquishment of EL 24689 which was believed to have occurred con-currently with the lodgement of the application for ML 28573 as there was no longer any land available for exploration within the boundaries of EL 24689. Subsequent advice from the Dept. was that the relinquishment of EL 24689 actually occurred on 30/06/2011. Field work comprised a check of the boundaries of the area of the proposed Mineral Lease application as they would adjoin the eastern boundary of the neighbouring Francis Creek Iron Ore tenements and/or applications. In addition a sweep of the area was made the check for any outstanding environmental issues of which there were none found. |
