Abstract: | Exploration work in 2011 focused on the sampling decline (SD), The decline is 25.5 metres in from the adit entrance and was commenced in 2009 and continued in 2010-2011 The SD was extended a further 2 metres in 2011 and is now 8.5 meters down dip from the southern wall of the adit. Waste rock shovelled and wheelbarrowed from the SD was moved to the old waste rock dump and used to build a platform to level out a part of the camp living area. Six metres wide of wall rock has now been exposed in the face of the SD. Azurite mineralisation persists in the working face down dip and also along strike. The choice of continued sampling direction is about the quality of the specimens located. |
