Annual report EL 25657 Cloughs Dam for the period 30 August 2010 to 29 August 2011

Abstract

Stream sediment sampling was the only field activity for the year. A total of 185 samples were collected. To date 93 analyses have been received, which relate to the initial phase of sampling carried out in early 2011. The more recent sampling program was completed in mid August with the processing underway at the time of writing this report. All samples are sieved then concentrated on-site by gravity separation utilising a Wilfley Table. The dried sample is then passed through a magnetic separator to give a magnetic and non- magnetic fraction. Multi-element analyses including all REE is conducted by ALS Perth on both the non-magnetic and magnetic fraction.
