Title: | Core report for MLN 962 Nabarlek ML Project |
Report id: | CSR0044 |
Year: | 2009 |
Author: | Williamson, G |
Corporate Author: | Uranium Equities |
Drillhole/Well Name: | NA1; NA4; NA26; NA83; NA88; NA168 |
Abstract: | Core was examined in April 2009 primarily to observe the uranium mineralisation, lithologies and alteration halos from the mined out pit. XRF measurements were collected using a handheld analyser to characterise the ore and possible pathfinder elements with the surrounding lithologies. Drillholes examined were NA1, NA4, NA26, NA83, NA88 and NA168 with the core being compared to information recorded on historical drill logs. Historical drill logs were found to adequately describe the core lithology and alteration halos. All anomalous zones had been recognised and sampled. During the examination a total of 189 XRF readings were taken on selected sections of core utilising UEL's portable Niton XL3t XRF Analyser. |
