Abstract: During 2010 Great Western Exploration Limited (GTE) planned to complete geologicial mapping and soil and rock chip sampling but these activities were hindered, by target prioritization within the tenement group and time constraints. The company focused upon the larger tenements within the group, namely EL 25026 and EL 25024. This position was adopted because of the following: High priority targets were identified via earlier aeromagnetic survey and the geological units are better understood, for example the contact between the Koolpin Formation, Gerowie Tuff and the Mount Bonnie Formation. The lack of time available to explore EL 27223, within the report period became evident due too the following: The prolonged wet season hampered access to target areas within the larger tenements and vehicles were damaged trying to gain access to target areas. Great Western Exploration Limited activities within the report period were limited too desktop studies in conjunction with reconnaissance and prospect mapping.
