Abstract: | During 2010 Great Western Exploration Limited (GTE) planned to complete an RC drilling program but was hindered by target prioritization within the tenement group and time constraints. The company focused upon the larger tenements within the group, namely EL 25026 and EL 25024. This position was adopted because of the following: High priority targets were identified via earlier aeromagnetic survey and The geological units are better understood, for example the contact between the Koolpin Formation, Gerowie Tuff and the Mount Bonnie Formation. The lack of time available to explore EL 27223, within the report period became evident because of the following: The prolonged wet season hampered access to target areas and vehicles were damaged trying to gain access to target areas. Great Western Exploration Limited activities within the report period were limited to desktop studies in conjunction with reconnaissance and prospect mapping. |
