Final report EL 8434 Nicker, Yeundumu Joint Venture from 18 April 2000 to 17 April 2010

Abstract

EL 8434 Nicker is located approximately 400 km northwest of Alice Springs in the Arunta region. EL 8434 is the subject of a Deed for Exploration between the Central Land Council (CLC) and Yuendumu Mining Company NL (YMC), signed on 3 August 1996. On 29 September 1999, Tanami Exploration NL (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL, entered into a Joint Venture agreement with YMC covering EL 8434. In December 2009, ABM Resources NL (ABM) purchased EL 8434. Exploration in 2010 consisted of a reconnaissance trip and rock chip sampling at the Dodger prospect. A total of five samples taken on EL 8434 returned a best result of 4.82 ppm Au in sample DG 0005 from a gossanous quartz outcrop. Over the ten year of tenure exploration was mainly completed by TENL and to a minor degree by ABM in 2010. It included a geological re-interpretation, reconnaissance, surface sampling vacuum, RAB and Aircore drilling. All the drilling was completed in 2004. The best over all assay result from the drilling was a 3m interval (18-21m) at 6145ppb Au returned from RC hole NKC006.
