Abstract: During the year ended 13 February 2010, Outback Metals Limited carried out a detailed analysis and interpretation of previous geological mapping, exploration, airborne geophysics and compiled a list of 139 targets or anomalies which were considered worthy of ground investigation. In June-July 2009, a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter based out of the Daly River Caravan Park was used to investigate these features. In October 2009 further helicopter assisted work was carried out with geochemical soil sampling of part of the Terry's Gold Prospect and the rediscovery of the Silver Strike Prospect (formerly Planet Gold Anomaly B1). During the wet season preliminary interpretation was done on the GA AEM survey data. A total of 63 rock samples and 341 soil samples were collected and analysed for multi-elements during the year. No detailed petrology and no high impact exploration such as drilling or trenching was done. The principal commodities explored for were gold, base metals and uranium.
