| Abstract: | EL 31384 (the licence) is located approximately 510km South-East of Katherine and has an area of 16.4 square kilometres. The licence area sits within the Carpentaria Basin, which hosts various commodities which includes bauxite, kaolin, manganese and uranium. During the reporting period, Oceanic only conducted desktop studies. Oceanic acquired existing magnetic, EM and radiometric surveys and conducted historical studies. From the desktop studies, Oceanic was not able to find prospective areas to warrant substantial field programs to follow up. Therefore, Oceanic surrendered the licence on 12 June 2018. |
