Abstract: | This report details exploration undertaken during the twelve month reporting period between 10 February 2009 and 9 February 2010. The report group comprises four Exploration Licenses including EL 23897, EL 25497, EL 25577 and EL 26221. The tenement group is in the Tennant Creek Mineral field and is prospective for epigenetic structurally controlled ironstone related gold copper mineralization. TRM continued to explore for gold and copper within the Ewan Edward Project Group of Tenements. Exploration activities undertaken during 2009 - 2010 within the Ewan Edward Project Group continued to highlight the potential for the area to host significant ore grade gold and copper mineralization. The area is still relatively under explored. The work carried out focused on developing a structural model for the area. Mapping within EL 25577 and EL 26221 located several ironstone pods that had not been previously identified. A ground gravity survey is recommended with a first phase program of shallow RAB drilling to define potentially mineralized zones. Sixty four (64) RAB drill holes were completed for 2590m at Lyall EL 25497. The drilling returned elevated assays of Cu and Bi with the best being 1m at 1110ppmBi from 36m in 09LYRB046. The anomalous zone remains open to the northeast and southwest. A program of RAB drilling is recommended to better define the anomalous zone followed by deeper RC drilling to locate potential ore grade gold and copper mineralization. Twenty eight (28) RAB drill holes were completed at Hera EL 23897 for 1941m. The drilling defined a weak copper anomaly associated with a thick sequence of shales. The best result returned was 1m at 91ppm Cu from 98m BOH in 09HERB025. A program of RAB drilling is recommended to better define the zone of anomalism. |
