Abstract: EL 26564 was granted to Holocene Pty Ltd on 8 September 2008 for a period of six years. It is bounded by Longtitudes 134.730 and 1350 and Latitudes 23.660 and 240S. Holocene Pty Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reward Minerals Ltd. The tenement covers the eastern end of the Gayland Syncline, which includes units of the Cambrian Chandler Formation(Ch), an evaporitic member and the Late Proterozoic Bitter Springs Formation(Pg), a dolomitic and evaporitic member. These formations are the primary targets for potash mineralisation. This report details all exploration activity carried out during the tenement's first year from 8 September 2008 to 7 September 2009. During this period, investigations were completed with a view to selecting targets for potash exploration. Several field trips were made to determine the lithology of the host units. Laminated limestone outcrop was observed but no evaporitic units were encountered. One dam and two bores were sampled for salts. Results are pending.
