Angela West Uranium Project EL 31067, Annual and Final Report 10 November 2016 to 18 December 2017

Abstract

The objective of EL 31067 was to secure possible strike extensions to the reduced horizon that host the Angela Uranium deposit within the Undandita Sandstone Member of the late-Devonian to early-Carboniferous Brewer Conglomerate. The target commodity was uranium. EL 31067 was granted on 10 November 2016 and surrendered on 18 December 2017. No exploration activities were conducted. No field visit was undertaken nor were any datasets compiled, other than the information obtained from the STRIKE portal. Activities were limited to a regional review of the publicly available information via interrogating the STRIKE website, NTGS Geological mapping and determining the potential extensions to the reduced horizon which hosts the adjacent Angela Uranium deposit. Jewell Dunbar Pty Ltd was attempting to secure the adjacent tenure that hosts the Angela Project via a joint venture or other commercial arrangement however when negotiations with the then holder of the Angela project were terminated no additional work was undertaken. As a result of the breakdown of commercial negotiations and the sustained depressed nature of the uranium market no additional work was considered warranted. The tenement (EL 31067) was surrendered on 18 December 2017.
