EL 24560 Great Northern North Annual report on exploration activities for the third year of tenure 2008-2009

Abstract

EL 24560 was granted to Sashfern in January 2006. During this year of tenure, metal detecting and prospecting were carried. Quartz containing visible fine gold was located with a metal detector. A run was located over the lower slopes of previous alluvial workings on the western side of the ridge directly above Chinese diggings that run all the way out to the flat at the southern end of the lease. Rock samples from two quartz vein reefs have not been assayed due to the closure of the Pine Creek lab. A hole was dug by backhoe on the flat in search of alluvial gravel. No gravel was found and the hole was backfilled.
