Abstract: The EL is centered approximately 40 kilometres east of the Inverway Homestead and 600km southwest of Darwin, Northern Territory. Located in the Victoria River Region which comprises Proterozoic to Mesoproterozoic shallow marine to littoral sediments, including carbonates, overlain unconformably by Neoproterozoic glacial sediments. The tenement covers the Neave Fault and has been subject to minor open folding and faulting. No exploration work was completed. None to report. Conclusions, no field work or activities were undertaken on the tenement, as soon after the tenement was granted a decision was taken to proceed to a voluntary winding up of the Company. The Stirling Creek Project comprising tenement EL26232 covers an area of approximately 602km2 was targeted based on samples with anomalous indicator mineral chemistry as recorded in the Northern Territory diamond indicator mineral database and diamond mineral chemistry database and the favourable geological setting for the intrusion of diamondiferous kimberlites on the North Australian Craton. Known diamondiferous kimberlites occur to the north of the project area at Timber Creek. However, soon after the tenement was granted, a decision was taken to proceed to voluntary winding up of Southstar. No exploration was undertaken on the tenement and the tenement was surrendered in August 2008.
