Abstract: This tenement is considered prospective for uranium, gold and base metal sulphide mineralisation. A large proportion of time and expenditure was devoted to finding and compiling all known exploration data into a GIS format. Existing airborne survey data has been located and are being processed. Three uranium prospects are present in the southern portion of the tenement were previous exploration occurred. At the Burnetts prospect, both autunite and torbernite are present in a costean, with peak assays of 1.3% U3O8, 1230 ppm Cu and 1500 ppm Pb. Two out of four diamond drill holes completed at this prospect intersected uranium mineralisation. Hole CB(D)82/01 intersected three intervals of interest whilst hole CB(D)82/02 intersected one narrow interval. There also appears to be a series of shallow percussion drill holes completed near this prospect. At the QML No2 prospect (located in metagreywacke) an autunite rich sample assayed 13.4 % U3O8. Auger drill holes were used as a follow up. No deeper drilling appears to have been undertaken. Torbernite is reported at the QML No3 prospect which occurs in chloritic pyhllites. It appears that three diamond drill holes were completed and although they intersected disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite they failed to locate significant uranium mineralisation. The Danni prospect is an airborne radiometric anomaly located between the Burnetts prospect and the South East Kylie prospect. No information was found of previous exploration.
