Daly River Project EL 22495, EL 22496, EL 22498 and EL 23595 Annual report for the period 6 September 2007 to 5 September 2008

Abstract

Failure to advance negotiations and the refusal to consent grant of EL 22066 in particular has meant that the extent of the intended airborne geophysical survey has been minimized. An airborne magnetic survey was completed over a large part of EL 22495 in January 2008 and ground inspection of an anomaly labelled DR500 was carried out in April 2008. Specifications for the aeromagnetic survey completed on 7 January 2008 are included in the Airborne Geophysical Survey Agreement attached in Appendix 2. A diagram showing the location and magnitude of anomaly DR500 in contours and as a RTPSEagcs 50 image is attached in Appendix 3. Further groundwork attendant on that survey has been delayed pending clearance for drilling through the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority. A report on modelling depth to source for DR500 detected during the survey and for DR403 on the southern boundary of EL 22495 is attached as Appendix 4.
