| Abstract: | The Birrindudu Project comprises Exploration Licences 5889 and 23472 and is situated approximately 250 km east-southeast of Halls Creek, in the north-western portion of the Tanami Desert. The tenements are granted to Tanami Exploration NL (TENL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanami Gold NL (TGNL), a publicly listed company. From December 2000 to December 2005 it formed part of the Tanami (NT) JV, a Joint Venture agreement between Tanami Gold NL (TGNL) and Barrick Gold of Australia Limited (Barrick). Exploration in 2006 was completed by Tanami Exploration NL and included a geological reinterpretation, reconnaissance, rock chip sampling (4 samples) and RAB drilling of 57 holes for 3770 m. No significantly elevated results for gold were returned from the rock chip sampling. Results of RAB drilling include a maximum intercept of 16 m @ 150 ppb gold (from 12m) from SUB0020. They define in conjunction with historic Barrick drilling a coherent 5 ppb gold anomaly over a distance a four kilometers. |
