Title: Annual report on exploration activities for EL 24286 Abner North, year two of tenure, period ending 23 January 2007
Title Holder / Company: Gravity Diamonds
Report id: CR2007-0038
Tenure: EL24286
Year: 2007
Abstract: During the past year of tenure, a single gravel sample was collected within EL 24286 as part of a more regional diamond exploration program around the Abner Range area. Results have been received, but reported a negative result. Aerially extensive airborne Hoistem MkII surveys, focussed about the Abner Range area, were flown by GPX in late September 2006, and included coverage of approximately 30 km2 within EL 24286. First pass interpretation of the survey data indicates that no priority kimberlite targets are located within EL 24286. However, interpretation is continuing and given the potential for further kimberlites to be located in the Abner Range area, it is likely that second order targets generated from the survey will be subjected to field inspection and sampling.
